Navigation App "T Map" Experiences Over an Hour of Access Disruption... "Investigating the Cause"

"Internal System Issue... Doing Our Best to Restore Service"

The navigation app 'T Map' is experiencing issues with access and route guidance on the morning of December 10.


According to T Map Mobility, the operator of T Map, the disruption is estimated to have occurred around 8:09 a.m. that day, and access is still not stable as of now.

For a time in the morning, when users launched the app, an error code appeared along with a message stating, "The service is delayed. Please try again later." As of 9:50 a.m., while users can access the app normally, a service delay message is displayed when requesting route guidance after setting a destination.


T Map Mobility explained that the current access disruption is believed to be due to an internal cloud system issue. The company clarified that external factors such as hacking or Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are not the cause of the disruption.


A T Map Mobility representative stated, "The access disruption occurred due to internal reasons," and added, "We are currently doing our best to identify the exact cause and take measures for recovery, and we will provide an update once the issue is fully resolved."
