Truen Supplies Samples of On-Device AI Camera 'TA Series' to Multiple Countries

Truen is set to enter the global market with its next-generation on-device artificial intelligence (AI) camera, developed based on a high-performance system-on-chip (SoC).

Truen Supplies Samples of On-Device AI Camera 'TA Series' to Multiple Countries

On December 9, Truen announced that it is continuing to supply samples of its TA Series cameras, which are equipped with high-performance AI SoCs jointly developed with Hailo.

Since the launch of the TA Series, Truen has been supplying samples not only to existing overseas clients but also to newly acquired customers over the past year. The company has supplied samples to more than ten countries, including the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Israel.

Having verified product demand and market potential through sample distribution in each country, Truen now plans to actively pursue full-scale supply. The company is currently in discussions with numerous firms in the United States, Japan, Spain, and Turkey, having received positive feedback from them. Truen expects to achieve tangible results in the near future.

An American company evaluated that the camera's AI denoising feature delivers superior night image quality compared to competitors. A Japanese company highlighted the lower false positive rate, enabled by the AI SoC, as a key competitive advantage. Companies in Spain and Turkey highly praised the camera's outstanding AI performance and its ability to implement multiple AI functions simultaneously.

The TA Series is an on-device AI camera equipped with a high-performance AI SoC, delivering processing speeds five to seven times faster than previous models, based on 20 TOPS-level computational power. It can simultaneously identify up to 256 objects, maintaining high recognition accuracy even in crowded environments such as airports, subways, and concerts. The camera can run various AI features concurrently, including AI denoising, object and event detection, vehicle speed measurement, and license plate recognition.

AI denoising is a technology that removes noise from video using AI, enhancing the quality of the original data and enabling clear image quality and accurate object identification even in low-light conditions such as nighttime. The TA Series also offers superior analysis performance, with higher accuracy and lower false positive rates compared to competitors. It can detect long-distance objects up to 200 meters during the day and up to 120 meters at night. Even in environments with 40x zoom, the enhanced image stabilization feature ensures stable video and recognition performance.

A company representative stated, "Through the supply of next-generation on-device AI camera samples jointly developed with Hailo, we have received positive feedback from overseas clients. As we are in discussions with numerous global companies, we will do our utmost to ensure that sample supply leads to full-scale mass production and orders."
