The Policy Awards Ceremony has been held annually since 2010 to promote and share best practices in the fields of administration and policy by selecting and rewarding public institutions that have implemented outstanding policies.

At this year's ceremony, PSTPS was selected as an award recipient for its efforts in building a social safety net through the creation of the PSTPS Sharing Fund. In particular, the organization was highly praised for securing funding by participating in the public sector support project competition organized by the Public Interest and Solidarity Foundation, and for using both the support funds and its own budget to implement a medical safety net project (providing medical expenses for children from low-income families) and a social safety net project (supporting young people leaving social welfare institutions). These initiatives, achieved through inter-agency collaboration, were recognized as exemplary contributions to the government's inclusive social contribution efforts.

PSTPS plans to continue developing a variety of social contribution projects that foster mutual growth with the local community and contribute to social solidarity, including providing medical expense support and scholarships for students from low-income families.

Song Hajung, Chairman of PSTPS, stated, "This Excellence in Policy Award from the Korean Association for Public Administration is a valuable achievement made possible by the collaboration of not only public institutions, but also local governments, participating medical institutions, and social welfare foundations. We will continue to grow as a public institution that empowers both our clients and the public by practicing ongoing sharing and social responsibility."
