Held at Dongguk University and Soongeui Women's College on December 8-9
Jung-gu District in Seoul (District Mayor Kim Gilseong) will operate the "Visiting Safe Jeonse and Monthly Rent Contract Consultation Center" for single-person university student households at Dongguk University and Soongeui Women's College on December 8 and 9. This is the second visit following the previous event in June.

At the consultation center, a "Housing Safety Manager" who is a licensed real estate agent will provide easy-to-understand one-on-one guidance on everything from complex housing policies to essential information for real estate contracts. In addition to consultations, the center will also accept reservations for the "accompanied house viewing" service, where the Housing Safety Manager will accompany students to inspect properties and attend contract signings, helping to alleviate the concerns of single-person university student households.
The consultation center will operate at Dongguk University on December 8 and at Soongeui Women's College on December 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Not only single-person university student households who live or spend most of their time in Jung-gu, but also students preparing to live independently can receive on-site consultations without a reservation.
About 30 students participated in the consultation held in June. Students shared their thoughts, saying, "I felt lost searching for a place to live on my own, but now I clearly know what to watch out for," "The complicated housing policies were explained in an easy-to-understand way, which was very helpful," and "I learned about the house viewing accompaniment service for the first time, and I plan to use it when I look for a place."
Meanwhile, Jung-gu operates a "Safe Jeonse and Monthly Rent Contract Assistance Consultation Room" for single-person households on the 4th floor of the Welfare Policy Division at the Jung-gu District Office Annex. In-person and phone consultations are available every Monday and Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. With a reservation, the on-site accompaniment service is also available at night and on weekends, making it convenient for working individuals. Consultation requests can be made through the Seoul Single-Person Household Portal or the Welfare Policy Division of the Jung-gu District Office.
Jung-gu stated, "We hope the visiting consultation center will serve as a reliable source of housing support for single-person university student households who have little experience with real estate transactions," adding, "We will continue to expand customized policies so that single-person households can enjoy a more stable daily life."
