Large Tree and Sculptures Installed at Question Mark Park
Public-Private Cooperation to Revitalize the Local Commercial District
Gijang County in Busan (Governor Jung Jongbok) recently installed a Christmas tree and various themed sculptures at Question Mark Park within the Osiria Tourist Complex, creating a nighttime winter landscape for visitors.
This project was launched to revitalize the Osiria Tourist Complex commercial district and invigorate the local economy, with close collaboration between the Osiria Merchants’ Association and the Osiria Revitalization Promotion Committee. It is regarded as a representative example of public-private cooperation to restore the local commercial area.
The large tree installed at the center of the park harmonizes with the surrounding landscape lighting, creating a special winter atmosphere. Santa Claus and Rudolph sculptures, popular with children, have also been placed to provide a space where families can stay and enjoy themselves. A photo zone has been set up so that residents and tourists can capture winter memories.
On December 5 at 5 p.m., the county will hold a lighting ceremony at the plaza in Question Mark Park and officially begin operating the decorations. The Christmas tree and photo zone will be available until January 31 of next year, with plans to develop the site into a comfortable winter attraction open to everyone.
Governor Jung Jongbok stated, “With the creation of this winter landscape, we will further strengthen the convenience facilities and stay-type content at Osiria Tourist Complex. I hope many residents and tourists visit Osiria and Question Mark Park to create special winter memories.”
