Outstanding Nutrition Management Plans and Project Achievements by Local Governments
Changnyeong County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on December 5 that it was selected as an outstanding institution in the '2025 National Nutrition Management Implementation Plan Evaluation' organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and received a commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare.
This evaluation comprehensively assessed each local government's nutrition management plans, project outcomes, and efforts to improve local dietary habits. Only 11 local governments nationwide were selected as outstanding institutions. Changnyeong County received high marks for implementing a variety of nutrition management projects tailored to the characteristics of the region.

Changnyeong County supported balanced diets by operating the 'Single Bungle Changnyeong!' program for single-person households, aiming to optimize nutrition management and improve dietary habits to increase residents' healthy life expectancy.
In addition, the county has helped children develop healthy eating habits through the 'Colorful Children's Cooking Class,' and has provided nutrition education for multicultural families, working to improve the eating habits and health management of vulnerable groups by offering customized dietary management services.
A county official stated, "Changnyeong County has promoted a variety of health promotion projects for the healthy lives of residents," adding, "We will continue to provide systematic and stable nutrition management services in the future."
