According to Seo-gu on December 5, the evaluation, organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, was conducted for public health centers across the country. The ministry comprehensively reviewed the operational performance and best practices of the Nutrition Plus Project and ultimately selected 12 public health centers with outstanding results.
Seo-gu has promoted the slogan "Kind Seo-gu More Care, The First Step Toward Health Together" and has provided support tailored to local needs for nutritionally vulnerable groups such as infants and pregnant women. In particular, Seo-gu received high marks for actively identifying new beneficiaries in collaboration with organizations such as the Family Center, Dream Start, and local administrative welfare centers, as well as for encouraging voluntary community participation through its Multicultural Care Network.
Lee Wongu, Director of Seo-gu Public Health Center, stated, "Seo-gu has continued to provide tailored support to improve health equity for nutritionally vulnerable groups," adding, "We will further strengthen our support so that pregnant women and infants can grow up healthy, realizing a 'Seo-gu where mothers and children are happy.'"
