"Preventing Safety Accidents and Enhancing Snow Removal Response"
On December 3, Hwasun County in South Jeolla Province held the "2025 Winter Natural Disaster Preparedness Snow Removal Equipment Demonstration" together with the Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps to take proactive measures against winter natural disasters.
According to the county on the 5th, the demonstration was organized to prevent safety accidents caused by heavy snowfall during the winter and to ensure a prompt snow removal response within the region.

In particular, training on the use of snow removal equipment and hands-on field demonstrations were provided for the Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps, strengthening disaster response capabilities through collaboration between the public and private sectors.
During the event, participants received instruction on operating small-scale snow removal equipment and observed demonstrations simulating actual road conditions. Members of the Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps enhanced their practical response skills by operating the equipment themselves.
Cho Younggyun, Head of the Resident Safety Division, stated, "Through this demonstration, we were able to improve the on-site response capabilities of the Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps," adding, "We will continue to prioritize the safety of our residents and do our utmost to ensure proactive preparation and response to natural disasters."
Meanwhile, to accelerate initial response during winter snowfall, the county has strengthened its collaborative system with the Autonomous Disaster Prevention Corps and purchased snow removal equipment, which has been distributed to towns and villages to support snow removal operations.
