As the year-end and New Year approach, a wave of warm generosity is sweeping through Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province, touching the entire local community and delivering heartfelt inspiration. Local businesses, religious organizations, individual soldiers, and even children from daycare centers are voluntarily participating in donations, bringing hope to neighbors in need.

On December 4, a variety of donated items for neighbors in need were gathered at Gwangju City Hall.
Taejeon Areumdawoon Church (led by Senior Pastor Lee Hakjun) donated 10 million won in cash, hoping to comfort neighbors ahead of Christmas.
Amaros Co., Ltd. and J&L Co., Ltd., beauty and lifestyle health companies, jointly donated goods worth a total of 81.9 million won, including Foreman All-in-One men's sets and Dermablemish Balm, promising practical support to ease economic burdens.

The Gyeonggi Gwangju Oil Market Association (President Sung Ki-hyun) also delivered a donation of 2 million won for vulnerable groups, pledging to continue their ongoing charitable activities.

Sergeant Major Seo Jeongchul of the Army Special Warfare School Training Unit, located in Opo 2-dong, Gwangju City, joined in the spirit of giving by donating 300 kilograms of rice he received as a congratulatory gift for his appointment to Opo 2-dong. The rice, given with Seo’s warm heart, will be provided to low-income households and those in welfare blind spots, helping neighbors in need get through the winter warmly.
In addition to donations of goods and cash, the Toechon-myeon Community Security Council in Gwangju City organized a special event for basic livelihood recipients and elderly people living alone. The tangerine harvesting experience at “DaHam Farm” in Toechon-myeon aimed to prevent winter depression and promote social interaction among seniors, and participants enjoyed a lively and joyful time.
