Hanssem Achieves 'Excellent' Grade in Win-Win Growth Index for Six Consecutive Years

Received the Highest Grade for Three Consecutive Years in the Fair Trade Agreement Implementation Evaluation

Hanssem announced on December 5 that it has become the first company in the furniture industry to receive the 'Excellent' grade in the Win-Win Growth Index evaluation for six consecutive years in the 2025 assessment.

The Win-Win Growth Index is an indicator introduced to promote a culture of mutual cooperation between large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises. Each year, the results of the 'Comprehensive Win-Win Growth Evaluation' by the Win-Win Growth Committee and the 'Fair Trade Agreement Implementation Evaluation' by the Fair Trade Commission are combined in equal proportion and published in five grades (Best, Excellent, Good, Average, and Poor).

In particular, Hanssem received high marks for compliance with fair trade practices and building trust with its partners, achieving the highest grade for three consecutive years in the Fair Trade Agreement Implementation Evaluation, which is one of the two main components of the Win-Win Growth Index. As a result of this evaluation, the company will receive incentives such as a two-year exemption from ex officio investigations by the Fair Trade Commission, a one-year designation as an exemplary company in subcontracting transactions, and additional points in the pre-qualification (PQ) process for public procurement bids from the Public Procurement Service.

Hanssem has worked to strengthen the competitiveness of its partners through initiatives such as operating the 'Win-Win Fund', a low-interest loan program for partners; supporting fees for technology data escrow to enhance technology protection; providing job training to improve the capabilities of partner employees; supporting regular employment at partner companies and providing scholarships and medical expense support for employees' families to improve partner welfare; and introducing its own company-wide compliance and ethics management system, the 'Compliance Ethics Index'.

Internally, Hanssem has also continuously strengthened training on fair trade-related laws, such as the Subcontracting Act and the Agency Act, for its employees, embedding a culture of compliance and ethical management throughout the organization.

Jung Kwanghyun, Head of the Management Support Division at Hanssem, stated, "Hanssem places the highest value on establishing a fair and transparent trading order in its relationships with partners," adding, "We will take the lead in creating an industrial ecosystem that realizes mutual growth based on trust with our partners by fundamentally eliminating unfair practices through a culture of transactions founded on mutual respect."
