This event was organized to mark the United Nations-designated International Volunteer Day, delivering gifts and encouragement to local children. More than 100 executives and employees from 18 companies and institutions based in Yongsan-gu, including Samil PwC, Samil Future Foundation, Amorepacific, Sookmyung Women's University, Orion Foundation, CJ CGV, HDC Shilla Duty Free, HDC IPARK Mall, and HDC Hyundai Development Company, participated in the volunteer activity.

The volunteers personally packed gifts such as school supplies, daily necessities, and snacks prepared by each company, and then delivered them to nine facilities for children and adolescents within Yongsan-gu.

Park Jiyun, an accountant at Samil PwC who participated as a volunteer, said, "It was a meaningful time to be able to share warmth with the children for the upcoming Christmas," adding, "Even though it was a small act of sharing, I felt great fulfillment seeing the children's happy smiles."

Samil PwC established the Samil Future Foundation in 2008, the first public interest foundation in the accounting industry, and has continued its social contribution initiatives, including supporting youth education and related facilities and improving accounting transparency for non-profit organizations. Since 2018, as a member company of Yongsan Dragons, it has actively participated in solving local community issues, such as youth career mentoring and sharing goods with residents of small room communities.

Yongsan Dragons continues to carry out various community coexistence activities, such as guerrilla gardening, creating urban green spaces, and youth career mentoring. In recognition of these efforts, it received the '2024 Seoul Metropolitan City Garden City Award (Encouragement Prize)'.
