FSN: Motherbrain CEO Yoo Jenam Receives Minister of Culture Commendation for Contributions to Advertising Industry Advancement

Since 1992, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has annually selected and awarded individuals who have contributed to the development of the advertising industry and boosted the morale of industry professionals. The Minister’s commendation is presented to those who have made significant contributions to the industry, such as planning public service advertisements, driving digital transformation, introducing AI-based solutions, and innovating data utilization.

Yoo Jenam, CEO of Motherbrain, was recognized for his 25 years of service in the digital advertising sector, contributing to the online transition, digitalization, and enhancement of international competitiveness in the Korean advertising industry. In fact, Yoo Jenam has successfully led more than 100 major brand campaigns, earning recognition for raising the overall level of digital marketing in the industry. In addition, he has been actively involved in recruiting and nurturing talent every year through programs for job seekers organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Digital Advertising Association, as well as through university-industry cooperation initiatives.

Together with Yoo Jenam, Motherbrain has also continued to achieve steady growth. Since its establishment in 2009, the company has conducted successful campaigns through market analysis, tailored solutions, and differentiated creativity. By leveraging media insights, it has built a diverse portfolio across categories such as finance, fashion, commerce, and travel. Notably, last year, the company achieved a record annual transaction volume of 80.3 billion won, marking its highest ever despite challenging market conditions in the advertising sector.

This year as well, Motherbrain has continued to deliver outstanding results through precise planning, original creativity, efficient performance, and long-term branding strategies. The company has received a variety of awards for its achievements in both performance marketing and creative work. At the Social i-Awards 2025 held in July, it won one Grand Prize and two Excellence Awards.

Yoo Jenam, CEO of Motherbrain, stated, "The advertising industry is now at a new turning point driven by technological innovation," adding, "Going forward, we will continue to lead digital innovation and enhance advertising effectiveness across the industry by balancing technology and creativity."
