Deliberation Begins on the 2026 Budget Bill and Major County Administration Issues
The Sancheong County Council in South Gyeongsang Province convened the 310th 2nd Regular Session on December 1.
This regular session will run for a total of 19 days, from December 1 to December 19, during which the council will address key agenda items such as the review of the budget bill, ordinance bills, and questions regarding county administration.

During this session, the council will review a total of 15 agenda items, including three councilor-proposed items such as the partial amendment to the Ordinance on Welfare for Local Public Officials of Sancheong County Council, eight items submitted by the county governor such as the Ordinance on Integrated Support for Local Care in Sancheong County, and four items including the 2026 main budget bill. The council will also listen to the administrative policy speech related to the submission of the 2026 main budget bill.
In particular, this regular session will focus on closely examining the status of departmental budget allocations to ensure efficient distribution of funds and enhance transparency in county administration. The council also plans to actively gather public opinion, propose policy alternatives, and strengthen its oversight and checks on county administration.
Chairman Kim Suhan stated, "This regular session marks the conclusion of the year and serves as an important time to prepare for the coming year. I hope it will be a meaningful session where we can once again review the challenges facing our county and seek realistic and practical solutions together."
