Woori Bank Launches Recruitment for 2026 Winter Experiential Internship

Woori Bank announced that it will begin recruiting for the "2026 Winter Experiential Internship" starting December 1, with the aim of expanding job opportunities for young people and providing job seekers with practical experience in financial operations.

This internship will be offered in three categories: General, TECH, and Global. This year, the Global category has been newly established to strengthen the bank's global network. The Global category consists of a track for foreigners with a strong understanding of Korean culture and a track for Korean nationals with overseas experience and foreign language proficiency.

Applications for the General and TECH categories are open until December 15, while applications for the Global category are accepted until December 11. Woori Bank will select final candidates through a document screening, an AI competency assessment, and interviews. Those selected will be assigned to major headquarters departments for approximately four weeks starting January 19, 2026, and will also have the opportunity to gain experience in sales operations.

Interns who complete the program will be eligible for exemptions from the document screening stage in next year's new employee recruitment at Woori Bank, depending on their evaluation results. In particular, outstanding interns will be exempted from the first interview, and top-performing interns will be exempted from the second interview as well.

A Woori Bank representative stated, "This winter internship program has been designed to help young people build practical job skills by experiencing the financial sector firsthand, even in a challenging employment environment. Woori Bank will continue to operate various experiential programs to help the younger generation grow into future talent for the financial industry."
