At a regular press briefing that day, an official from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency stated, "We have obtained part of the restaurant's interior footage submitted by the person who filmed it," adding, "We are in the process of securing additional materials."
The Women and Juvenile Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has received a complaint alleging that Assemblyman Jang sexually harassed someone at a restaurant in Yeouido, Seoul, and is currently investigating the case. It has been reported that Assemblyman Jang was present at a dinner gathering attended by aides from a National Assembly member's office at the time.
A police official said, "We are coordinating interviews with other attendees," and confirmed that the complainant has not yet been questioned. Regarding the schedule for questioning the complainant, the official stated, "It is difficult to provide details at this stage."
On November 30, Assemblyman Jang denied the sexual harassment allegations and announced his intention to file a counter-complaint against the accuser for false accusation, but as of now, no such complaint has been filed.
