Romance Revealed on the November 29 Broadcast of "Mr. House Husband"
Comedian Ji Sangryul (55) has revealed that he is currently in a relationship with show host Shin Boram, who is 16 years younger than him.
On the November 29 episode of KBS 2TV's "Mr. House Husband Season 2" (hereafter "Mr. House Husband 2"), Ji Sangryul responded to the hosts' questions about his relationship with Shin Boram by saying, "We're dating. It still feels awkward to say it out loud," and added, "We are happily and warmly seeing each other."
When asked, "Do you keep in touch often?" he replied, "Since she also does live broadcasts, I ask her, 'Are you able to talk now?' before contacting her."
When asked if he had met Shin Boram's parents, Ji Sangryul said, "Her parents run a samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) restaurant," and listed the menu items. When Eun Jiwon commented, "I heard Boram's mother is very beautiful," Ji Sangryul reacted immediately, making everyone laugh.
Previously, on the August broadcast of "Mr. House Husband 2," Ji Sangryul revealed the process of being set up on a blind date with Shin Boram through the introduction of fellow comedian Yum Kyunghwan.
Ji Sangryul debuted in 1996 as a fifth-generation comedian at SBS. In 1999, he formed the comedy duo "Clnom" with Yum Kyunghwan, which brought him recognition. He has since appeared on a variety of entertainment programs such as "Lee Hongryul Show," "Good Friends," and "X-Man" on "Happy Sunday." He also continued his broadcasting career as an original member of KBS's "2 Days & 1 Night" and as a regular cast member on MBC's "Three Wheels."
