"Good Goodbye" Climbs to Top of Music Charts
Park Jungmin's Audiobook and Used Book Sales Also Surge
Although ten days have passed since the closing of the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards, online attention remains focused on the performance stage. This is because the congratulatory stage featuring singer Hwasa and actor Park Jungmin has generated an explosive response across various platforms, surpassing even the awards results. The video has rapidly spread, especially through social networking services (SNS), with its view count continuing to rise daily.

As of November 28, the performance video released on the 19th has reached 5.54 million views on YouTube. Hwasa opened the second part of the ceremony with her new song "Good Goodbye," and Park Jungmin, who appeared in the music video for the same song, joined the performance by moving from the audience to the stage. Since the movements and direction of the two were carried out without prior notice, many at the venue were confused as to whether it was spontaneous or staged.
Park Jungmin joined the stage with a composed expression and restrained gestures, which many have said blended seamlessly with the mood of the song. Among live broadcast viewers and audience members, there were numerous comments saying, "I keep replaying the video," further fueling the online buzz.
Following the release of the stage performance, the original song's metrics also saw an upward trend. As of the same day, the "Good Goodbye" music video surpassed 48.6 million views, and the track ranked No. 1 on both the Melon and Bugs charts. Related videos, such as the "Reaction Cam" released immediately after the performance, are also rapidly gaining views.
A similar trend has been observed in the publishing sector. According to Yes24, the audiobook "A Worthwhile Human," narrated by Park Jungmin, ranked No. 1 in weekly sales. The paperback edition, published in 2016, is currently out of print, and the price of used copies has soared far above the original retail price. In some cases, actual transactions have been confirmed at over 50,000 won.
Broadcasts and YouTube content featuring Park Jungmin from previous years are also being revisited. Comments on music videos, variety shows, and interview clips consistently mention, "I came here after the Blue Dragon Film Awards stage." Industry insiders are highlighting this as a rare case where a single performance has sparked a resurgence across video, music, and book sectors.
