Kakao Entertainment Sees Surge in Popularity Across Entire Series

The original webtoon for SBS's Friday-Saturday drama "Taxi Driver 3" saw its viewership surge by up to 64 times during the drama's premiere week.

On November 28, Kakao Entertainment announced that weekly views for "Taxi Driver: Recall" on Kakao Page increased by approximately 64 times in the first week of the drama's broadcast compared to the week before. "Taxi Driver: Recall" is the original work for the third season of the drama.

The buzz surrounding the drama has spread across the entire series. The weekly views for the season 1 webtoon "Taxi Driver" increased by about 33 times during the same period, while the prequel webtoon "Taxi Driver: Born in Black" recorded a fourfold increase.

"Taxi Driver" on Kakao Page is an action series centered on the protagonist Kim Dogi, who works at the revenge-specialist company Rainbow Taxi Company, fighting against absolute evil.
