The county has already introduced public foreign seasonal workers through agreements with Ca Mau Province in Vietnam and two provinces in Laos. Next year, it plans to actively address the labor shortage during the busy farming season and attract a stable workforce of foreign seasonal workers by signing MOUs with various countries.
The main contents of this agreement include cooperation in the dispatch and management of foreign seasonal workers, prevention of illegal stays, and collaboration on the implementation of working conditions and stay management. The purpose is to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural sector.
A county official stated, "This agreement will not only help secure a stable workforce during the peak farming season, but also serve as an opportunity to elevate mutual cooperation based on trust between the two countries. We will continue to create an environment where foreign seasonal workers can work safely and legally."
