A total of 352 non-commissioned officers were commissioned through this ceremony.
The newly commissioned non-commissioned officers completed systematic training in three separate courses: a 12-week civilian course (145 graduates), an 8-week active-duty course (199 graduates), and a 4-week reserve course (8 graduates). At the ceremony, Sergeant Kim Cheolmin received the Minister of National Defense Award. The Army Chief of Staff Award was presented to Sergeants Lee Sunbin and Jeong Junho, and Staff Sergeant Baek Donghun. The Army Education Commander's Award went to Sergeants Byun Hyejin and Kim Duyun, while the Army Non-Commissioned Officer Academy Commandant's Award was given to Sergeants Lee Eunji and Kim Taewan, among a total of 13 awardees.
Commander Kang stated, "You are the backbone of our military combat power, and you are precious and proud talents who defend the Republic of Korea and pioneer its future. I hope you will become reliable Army non-commissioned officers who fulfill the noble mission of defending our homeland and walk the honorable path together with your comrades."
Sergeant Kim Cheolmin, recipient of the Minister of National Defense Award, said, "This award is not simply the result of academic achievement, but a meaningful reminder of the mindset and responsibility required of a non-commissioned officer. In the future, I will strive to be the first to act on the battlefield and become a trusted leader whom soldiers can rely on and follow."
The newly commissioned non-commissioned officers will undergo additional specialized training for their respective branches and will be assigned to units across both the front and rear areas.
