Gyeonggi Province will issue certificates to those who passed last month's Licensed Real Estate Agent Qualification Exam starting from December 10. Those who do not wish to receive their certificates in person can have them delivered to their homes via courier service.
This year, 17,424 people in the province applied for the qualification exam, and 3,388 individuals, or 33.6%, passed. Compared to the previous year, the number of applicants in the province decreased by 4,802, and the number of successful candidates dropped by 1,324.
The youngest person to pass the exam in the province is 19 years old (born in 2007), while the oldest is 78 years old (born in 1947). Gyeonggi Province attributes the decrease in the number of applicants to a decline in preference for obtaining the certificate, which has been affected by the recent downturn in the real estate market and falling prices.
Gyeonggi Province is offering a courier delivery service for certificates to provide greater convenience to successful candidates. Those who apply for the courier service can safely receive their certificates at home without visiting in person, by paying only the delivery fee.
Applicants can check their results and apply for the courier service through the Korea Industrial Human Resources Corporation's Q-Net website (www.Q-net.or.kr) for five days, from the 26th to the 30th of this month.
