NH Nonghyup Bank Publishes Best Practices Guide for Preventing Voice Phishing

NH Nonghyup Bank announced on November 26 that it has published a "Best Practices Guide for Preventing Voice Phishing" to protect customers' assets from financial fraud and to strengthen the response capabilities of its employees.


This guide is based on a survey of 100 employees who contributed to actual fraud prevention. It features interactive scripts between staff and customers, highlighting key suspicious circumstances, common response know-how, and outstanding response cases, thereby enhancing its practical relevance.


The main content of the guide is organized into four major areas: the latest trends in voice phishing techniques, the top five suspicious circumstances observed in the field, exemplary response cases and prevention results from branches, and know-how for preventing damage. In particular, NH Nonghyup Bank explained that it included the "10 Key Tips" most commonly cited by employees who successfully prevented fraud, enabling all staff to share and learn from these experiences.


Lee Kangyoung, Deputy President of NH Nonghyup Bank’s Financial Consumer Protection Division, stated, "We expect this guide to serve as a practical manual that can be applied immediately in the field. NH Nonghyup Bank will continue to discover new cases and provide ongoing education to do our utmost to protect customers' assets and prevent financial fraud."
