The Third Supplementary Budget Bill for 2025
20 Ordinance Bills, 7 Public Property Management Plans, and More
The Hapcheon County Council in South Gyeongsang Province announced that it will hold the 2nd Regular Session of the 295th Hapcheon County Council from November 25 to December 17, for a total of 23 days.
During this 2nd Regular Session, the council plans to review a total of 44 agenda items, including four ordinance bills proposed by council members, the 2026 revenue and expenditure budget bill and fund management plan submitted by the county governor, the third supplementary budget bill for 2025, 20 ordinance bills, and seven public property management plans.
In addition, on November 26, prior to the review of the public property management plan, council members visited relevant sites in person and received detailed reports on the key status of each project from the department heads. On December 3, the council will operate a special committee for on-site inspections to thoroughly examine major county government project sites.
Furthermore, during the five-minute free speech session, Assemblyman Shin Myungki requested plans for the utilization and regional regeneration of the Sulgok District in Bongsan-myeon to revitalize the local economy in the northern region. Assemblywoman Kim Moonsook urged the establishment of countermeasures against pine wilt disease to protect forests, and Assemblywoman Shin Kyungja proposed the introduction of an enlistment support fund system to boost the morale of conscripted soldiers.
At the opening ceremony, Chairman Jeong Bonghun urged council members to do their best in reviewing various agenda items, including the 2026 revenue and expenditure budget bill and fund management plan, which are crucial for next year’s finances. He also asked for special attention to disaster prevention during the winter and support for vulnerable groups.
