All 11 Students Win Awards, Including Grand Prize

The Department of Beauty Care at Silla University (President: Heo Namsik) participated in the 10th Ulsan Mayor's National Beauty Art Competition, where all 11 student participants received awards.

This competition, organized by the Ulsan City Council of the Korea Beauticians Association on November 16, was held at the Ulsan High School gymnasium. Supported by Ulsan City, it is a nationwide beauty art competition. The event is recognized as a prestigious competition that comprehensively evaluates participants' practical skills and creativity, featuring 17 hair and makeup categories, 3 nail categories, and a contest section in the general division.


The 11 students from the Department of Beauty Care at Silla University each participated in three categories, showcasing their abilities, and all received awards.


Student Moon Suin won the highest honor, the Ulsan Mayor's Award, while Shin Yeonha received the Silla University President's Award. Lee Jimin, Baek Jisoo, Shin Juhui, Moon Sebin, and No Gahui were awarded the Central Association President's Award, and Jeong Hyewon, Kim Sieun, Chu Minseo, and Ryu Iwon received the Gold Award.


This achievement is attributed to the individualized guidance provided by the faculty and the practice-oriented educational approach.


The award-winning students commented, "Although we faced challenges while preparing for the competition, we experienced significant growth throughout the process. We are grateful to our professors for their guidance and will continue to strive for further improvement."
