So far, there have been 1,859 donors, with warm-hearted contributions to Cheongdo coming steadily from all over the country, including Gyeongbuk, Daegu, Gyeonggi, Seoul, Busan, and Jeonbuk.

As the end of the year approaches, Cheongdo County is working to expand participation by informing office workers and self-employed individuals about income tax deduction benefits.

In addition, Cheongdo County is using the Hometown Love Fund to promote various public interest projects, including improving the welfare of residents, supporting the socially vulnerable, and fostering youth development.

Starting this year, the county has been working to create a better environment for raising children through the "Pediatrics and Adolescents Department Support Project," and in 2026, the fund will be allocated to newly selected initiatives such as the "24-Hour Childcare Center Operation Project" and the "Support Project for Purchasing Wheelchair Lift Buses for People with Disabilities."

Cheongdo County also offers donors a total of 71 different return gifts, including persimmon products such as dried persimmons, semi-dried persimmons, and persimmon wine, as well as local agricultural specialties like Hwangsogojip rice, water parsley, and sesame oil.

These return gifts not only increase the income of local farmers and small businesses but also play a significant role in revitalizing the local economy, making the Hometown Love Donation Program an important driver in creating a virtuous cycle for regional development.

Governor Kim Hasu of Cheongdo County stated, "I sincerely thank everyone across the country who has donated out of love for their hometown," and added, "The Hometown Love Fund, collected through your kindness, will be used with care for projects that directly benefit residents, such as improving welfare, supporting the socially vulnerable, and fostering youth development."
