ACE ETF Unveils Differentiated Product Lineup and Outstanding Performance
Net Assets Surpass 22 Trillion Won, 56 New ETFs Launched in Three Years Since Rebranding
Bae Jaekyu: "Invest Long-Term in Future Growth"

On November 24, Korea Investment Management held an investor seminar to mark the third anniversary of the rebranding of its 'ACE' Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) series. The seminar reviewed the achievements of ACE ETFs over the past three years and presented future directions for development.

ACE is Korea Investment Management’s flagship domestic ETF brand, restructured from 'KINDEX' on October 13, 2022. The name stands for 'A Client Expert' and reflects the company's commitment to enhancing the customer experience. According to FnGuide, the total net assets of ACE ETFs have grown more than sevenfold, from 3 trillion won at the time of rebranding to over 22 trillion won as of the end of October.

Nam Yongsoo, Head of ETF Management at Korea Investment Management and the seminar’s first speaker, stated, "The rebranding to ACE was not merely a name change, but a declaration that we will prioritize customer value as client experts at the core of our management philosophy." He added, "Under the investment philosophy of 'investing for long-term future growth,' we are focusing on structurally growing sectors and presenting 'The First' and 'The Excellent' product strategies."

Nam further explained, "Since the rebranding three years ago, ACE ETFs have consistently launched innovative products across long-term investment assets, including growth, bonds, income, and asset allocation."

He also highlighted, "The technology-focused lineup, including the semiconductor, big tech, and big tech value chain series, as well as the ACE Maturity Auto-Extension Corporate Bond Series, ACE US Dividend Quality (the Korean version of DGRW), and ACE US Large Cap Growth and Value Active, have all helped raise the profile of the ACE brand."

Nam emphasized, "According to Data Marketing Korea, individual investors account for 42% of ACE ETF investments, the highest in the industry. Since the rebranding, 56 new ACE ETFs have been listed, including the largest overseas bond ETF in Korea, proactively introducing differentiated products tailored to client needs."

He introduced, "For example, the ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus has delivered outstanding performance, ranking first in returns among all overseas equity ETFs listed domestically since the rebranding."

According to FnGuide, the flagship ACE ETF, 'ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus,' has posted a return of 334.14% since its rebranding. Other products launched after the rebranding, such as ▲ACE Nvidia Bond Mix (152%) ▲ACE AI Semiconductor Focus (117%) ▲ACE US Big Tech TOP7 Plus (122%) ▲ACE US Equity Bestseller (94%) ▲ACE Tesla Value Chain Active (98%), have also recorded high returns since listing. In addition, ACE KRX Gold Spot, the first gold spot ETF in Korea, has achieved a 145% return since the rebranding. Currently, there are 103 ACE ETF products in total.

The second speaker, Bae Jaekyu, CEO of Korea Investment Management, said, "Since the rebranding three years ago, ACE ETFs have become the ace of the ETF market, offering the most efficient and rational investment tools to clients through the trust we have built and ongoing innovation in products and services. It is meaningful to share the core philosophy and achievements of ACE ETFs with individual investors at this third anniversary seminar."

Bae Jaekyu also shared the background behind the publication of his new book, 'Anyone Can Become Wealthy Through Investing,' which draws on his 30 years of experience as an asset management expert. The book covers topics such as ▲the definition of investing ▲requirements and strategies for successful investing ▲the value of long-term investment in technology stocks ▲and diversification strategies using ETFs.

Bae stated, "We are now living in a tech era beyond the age of manufacturing. As tech companies lead the world, long-term investment in these companies is more important than ever." He added, "This book is not a theoretical investment text, but a practical guide designed to help ordinary investors accumulate wealth through investing while focusing on their own work." He concluded, "Korea Investment Management will continue to provide high-quality investment products and strengthen investor information going forward."
