The Gwangju Seo-gu Council of the National Unification Advisory Council held the 22nd term inauguration ceremony and the 3rd quarter regular meeting on the 21st at Deulbul Hall in Seo-gu Office. Provided by the Gwangju Seo-gu Council of the National Unification Advisory Council

The Gwangju Seo-gu Council of the National Unification Advisory Council (hereafter referred to as the National Unification Advisory Council) announced that it held the inauguration ceremony for the 22nd term and the 3rd quarter regular meeting on the 21st at Deulbul Hall in Seo-gu Office.

Approximately 130 people attended the inauguration ceremony, including Kim Dongseok, Chairman of the Seo-gu Council, Kim Ikang, Mayor of Seo-gu, Jeon Seungil, Chairman of the Seo-gu Council, as well as regional representative advisors and executives, to celebrate the energetic launch of the 22nd term together.

The 22nd Gwangju Seo-gu Council has set "Realizing Peaceful Coexistence Together with the People" as its main direction of activities, in order to achieve a national consensus on unification and establish the foundation for peaceful unification, which are the core values of the National Unification Advisory Council. The council plans to actively promote peace and unification activities in the local community.

In particular, the council shared its operational direction for the next two years with the inauguration of the new Chairman, Kim Dongseok, and agreed to expand peace and unification projects that residents can directly experience.

Additionally, the advisors had a meaningful discussion on major tasks to strengthen the council's capabilities, such as operating subcommittees, identifying policy recommendations, and promoting community participation.

Kim Dongseok, Chairman of the Gwangju Seo-gu Council, expressed his inauguration remarks, stating, "The 22nd Seo-gu Council will faithfully serve as a central organization for communication that reflects residents' opinions in national policy and will do its best to realize the values of peace and unification in the local community."
