Over 200 young talents specializing in science and engineering from foreign-invested companies in advanced industries and universities in the Incheon area, including Inha University, participated in this recruitment event.
The Ministry and KOTRA are working in partnership with major universities in each region to introduce foreign-invested companies in advanced industries and to organize customized recruitment support events that reflect both hiring and job-seeking needs. This year alone, the event was held three times: at Yeungnam University (Gyeongsang region) in June, at Chungnam National University (Chungcheong region) in September, and now at Inha University (Incheon region).
Foreign-invested companies in advanced industries such as Amkor Technology Korea (semiconductors), Nova Measuring Instruments Korea (semiconductors), Aumobio Korea (mobility), and HRS Korea (electronic components) participated in this event. Job seekers were able to obtain detailed recruitment information and had opportunities for on-site interviews through one-on-one consultations with HR representatives from each company.
KOTRA collaborated with major local universities such as Inha University to recruit outstanding job seekers and facilitated on-site recruitment matching between companies and talent. In addition, special lectures on job search strategies delivered directly by HR managers from foreign-invested companies and company-specific recruitment briefing sessions were held, allowing participants to hear directly from hiring professionals and gain practical help in preparing for employment.
The Ministry and KOTRA plan to further expand recruitment events for foreign-invested companies in advanced industries next year by continuing to work with major universities in each region.
Kang Sangyeop, Vice President and Head of the SME & Mid-sized Company Division at KOTRA, stated, "This event was organized to broaden employment opportunities at foreign-invested companies for young talents specializing in science and engineering, and to support advanced industry foreign-invested companies in recruiting outstanding talent. We will continue to work with major universities in each region to ensure that these recruitment events lead to greater interest from exceptional talent in foreign-invested companies and result in tangible hiring outcomes."
