Hapcheon County Holds 6th Regional Community Security Representative Council Meeting

Seeking to Strengthen a Resident-Centered Welfare System through Public-Private Cooperation

Hapcheon County, South Gyeongsang Province, announced on November 20 that it held the 6th Regional Community Security Representative Council Meeting of 2025 in the county office's small conference room.

The meeting was attended by Kim Yuncheol, the public chairperson and Hapcheon County Governor, Yudahl Hyeong, the private chairperson, and 16 council members. They engaged in in-depth discussions on various agenda items aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the local community security system.

The meeting proceeded in the following order: a report on the results of the 3rd Working Council Meeting; a report on the operation results and future plans of the Hapcheon County Regional Community Security Council for the second half of 2025; deliberation on the 2026 operation plan and budget (draft) for the Hapcheon County Regional Community Security Council; and deliberation on the 2026 annual implementation plan (draft) for the 5th Hapcheon County Regional Community Security Plan.

In particular, the 2026 annual implementation plan is a one-year action plan based on the 5th Regional Community Security Plan, and under the goal of "A Hopeful Step Forward for Improving the Quality of Life of County Residents," it includes nine strategies and 43 detailed projects covering all aspects of social security, including health and welfare, education, and culture.

Yudahl Hyeong, the private chairperson, stated, "We will do our utmost to address our region's welfare issues together and ensure that the plans established through public-private cooperation are implemented."

Kim Yuncheol, the county governor, said, "I ask for your continued interest and advice so that the plans, which reflect your extensive experience and professional opinions, can be carried out smoothly. The administration will also strive to establish customized welfare policies that residents can truly feel."

Hapcheon County plans to continue its efforts to systematically implement the community security plan and to create a resident-centered welfare environment, based on the various opinions discussed at this meeting.
