21 Pyeongtaek Commercial Districts Join "Gyeonggi Grand Sale to Revitalize the Economy"

20% Reimbursement Benefit for Local Currency Payments

Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on November 19 that 21 local commercial districts will participate in the "2025 Second Half Gyeonggi Grand Sale to Revitalize the Economy," hosted by the Gyeonggi-do Market Promotion Agency, from November 22 to November 30.

The participating districts in this event include Seojeongri Traditional Market, Songtan Market, Anjung Market, Tongbok Market, Pyeongtaek International Central Market, Sosabeol Alley-type Shopping District, Ichung Central Shopping District, Cheongbuk Furniture Complex Merchants Association, Taepyeong Shopping District Alley-type Shopping District, Northern Central Alley-type Shopping District, Sosabeol Commercial District Prosperity Association, Baemi District Merchants Association, Songtan Tourism Special Zone Merchants Association, Songtan Business Association, Poseong Shopping District Prosperity Association, Northern Small Business Association, Pyeongtaek Station New Market Commercial District, Jogaeteo Merchants Association, Pyeongtaek Central Merchants Association, Hyeonhwa Alley Shopping District Merchants Association, and Pyeongtaek City Small Business Association.


During the event period, consumers who make purchases at participating businesses using the local currency, the Pyeongtaek Sarang Card (card type only, paper type excluded), can receive a reimbursement of up to 20% of the amount spent. The daily reimbursement limit is 30,000 won, and up to 120,000 won can be reimbursed throughout the event period. The reimbursed amount can be used until December 31, after which any remaining balance will automatically expire.
