Jeon Hangil, former Korean history instructor, responded to being sued by the Democratic Party by saying, "I consider it an honor." Jeon recently shared remarks from those around him, including the "100 million won bounty on President Lee," on his YouTube broadcast.

On November 18, Jeon stated on his YouTube channel, "I heard in a briefing that the Democratic Party has filed a complaint against me, but I consider being sued an honor. Being prosecuted for trying to protect liberal democracy is a badge of honor, just as being arrested by Japanese police for participating in the independence movement during the Japanese colonial era was not something to be ashamed of."

He continued, "Just as independence activists were arrested by the police, criticizing Lee Jaemyung is considered defamation, and criticizing China leads to imprisonment. That is the reality in Korea. Just as we fought for independence during the Japanese colonial period, we must fight against forces trying to undermine democracy in Korea," he emphasized.

Regarding the controversial "100 million won" remark, he repeatedly stressed, "I never said that," explaining that he was merely quoting someone else.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun, Chairperson of the Democratic Party's National Communication Committee, stated at the Democratic Police Station's weekly briefing on November 14, "Jeon made remarks inciting 'kidnapping and threats' against President Lee Jaemyung. Despite being a highly influential figure in the conservative camp, we cannot overlook the responsibility of broadcasting such serious and provocative remarks about the president without any filtering." The Democratic Party's National Communication Committee filed a complaint against Jeon with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on November 11, alleging violations of the Information and Communications Network Act.
