The Jeonnam Metropolitan Mobility Support Center announced on November 18 that it had successfully completed the "2025 Second Half Mobile Driver Professionalism Enhancement Training."
This training targeted drivers of special vehicles, leased taxis, and voucher taxis who provide mobility support services for transportation-vulnerable groups in all 22 cities and counties of Jeonnam Province. The program was held a total of 10 times, rotating through 5 regions in the province.
Among the 956 registered drivers in Jeonnam, 378 out of 514 drivers who had not completed the first half training participated, resulting in a high completion rate of 73%.
The training curriculum consisted of three areas-courteous service, disability rights, and traffic safety-aimed at enhancing service quality and strengthening on-site safety. The program focused on practical content that could be immediately applied in real work settings.
Additionally, the "Four Major Types of Violence Prevention Training" was offered online, allowing participants to learn without restrictions on time or location.
The Jeonnam Metropolitan Mobility Support Center is an organization operated with the Jeollanam-do "Lottery Fund." It serves as a call center that integrates the operation of 237 call taxis for people with disabilities, 3 leased taxis, and 839 voucher taxis across the 22 cities and counties in the province.
A representative from the center stated, "We will do our best to guarantee safe and convenient mobility rights for transportation-vulnerable groups through ongoing professional training."
