On November 17, Ulleung County announced that the Mureung Transportation Corporation Crew Labor Union had donated 3.2 million won in scholarship funds to the Ulleung County Education Development Committee (Chairman Han Ikhyeon).

At the donation ceremony, Chairman Park Seongha stated, "Despite the geographical limitations of living on an island, our union members came together with the hope that this small contribution would help students who are steadfastly pursuing their dreams to focus even more on their studies."
Director Nam Hankwon (Governor of Ulleung County) expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am deeply thankful to the crew members who, while responsible for Ulleung's only public transportation and working for residents under challenging conditions, have donated scholarship funds for the students. The donated scholarships will be used with care to nurture future talent in Ulleung."
Chairman Han Ikhyeon, who was unable to attend the ceremony due to personal commitments, also conveyed his appreciation, saying, "Thank you for this warm act of sharing for local students. The donated funds will be used as intended to ensure that students can focus on their studies without any shortcomings."
