On November 19, it was announced that Joy of Mobility Co., Ltd. (CEO Son Minsoo), the developer and operator of Gyeonggi Province's carbon-neutral citizen participation platform "Climate Action Opportunity Income," has reached a cumulative membership of 1.67 million and has been recognized for this achievement by receiving a commendation from the Governor of Gyeonggi Province.
"Climate Action Opportunity Income" is a platform that provides annual rewards of up to 60,000 won to users who practice daily carbon reduction activities such as walking, cycling, and using reusable containers, and certify these actions through the app.
Joy of Mobility has overseen the entire process from service development to operation, contributing to improved user convenience through innovative carbon reduction technologies and continuous service enhancements. Notably, since the service launched in July 2024, the platform has achieved 1.67 million cumulative members in just one year and four months, meaning one out of every eight Gyeonggi Province residents uses the service.
