Various Opinions Presented to Prevent Transaction Accidents
Changwon Special City held the 1st Certified Real Estate Agent Advisory Committee meeting to receive advice on education for certified real estate agents, aiming to promote transparent and sound real estate transactions.
The advisory committee, held on November 17, was attended by 10 members, including lawyers, tax accountants, judicial scriveners, and certified real estate agents. They offered a variety of opinions to improve the real estate transaction environment in Changwon and to protect citizens' property rights.
The main advisory topics discussed included: expanding the target group for real estate transaction education to include university students and young adults with limited real estate experience; actively encouraging the use of the Ministry of Justice's "Standard Housing Lease Contract" for housing lease agreements; and improving the upper limit of the security deposit subject to tenant preferential repayment rights under the current Lease Protection Act.
Based on the opinions discussed at this advisory committee, Changwon plans to thoroughly review related policies and systems in the future to create an environment where citizens can conduct real estate transactions more safely and fairly.
Lee Jaekwang, Director of Urban Policy, stated, "Real estate transactions are an important matter that directly affects citizens' lives and property," adding, "We will actively pursue effective policies tailored to the region's realities, based on the discussions from this advisory committee."
