Gradual Support for Edtech Solutions and Hangul Educational Materials
Icecream Media announced on the 18th that it had signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) for educational cooperation with five major local educational institutions in the Dalat and Ho Chi Minh areas of Vietnam from the 7th to the 11th.
The institutions participating in this agreement include Yersin Dalat University, Dalat University, HUTECH University, Korean International School in Ho Chi Minh City, and Saigon Korean Language School. The agreement aims to respond to Vietnam's rapidly changing educational environment by: distributing edtech solutions optimized for local curricula; providing Korean language and Hangul education materials and teaching aids; and establishing innovative models to enhance the learning experiences of teachers and students.

Icecream Media plans to gradually support the partner institutions with its flagship digital education platform, 'Icecream S,' as well as foundational Hangul literacy improvement materials and Korean language learning aids. Based on these efforts, the company intends to establish a locally validated 'edtech-teaching aid integrated education model' and build a sustainable education ecosystem founded on partnerships.
Kim Sungwook, Head of Commerce Business Division at Icecream Media, stated, "This agreement and participation in the expo mark a practical first step into the Vietnamese education market," adding, "We will establish a long-term and sustainable foundation for growth through close cooperation with local partners."
