Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency Reveals $700 Million Export Achievements with 944 Companies Expanding Overseas

The Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency will hold the '2025 Overseas Market Development Delegation Performance Sharing Event' and announce the achievements of its overseas market development delegation project, which supported 944 companies over the past three years and led to export contracts worth 700 million dollars.

The agency announced on the 17th that it will host the '2025 Overseas Market Development Delegation Performance Sharing Event' at Asan Divine Valley on the 18th.

This event has been organized to share the results of the 2023-2025 overseas market development delegation project, promoted with the support of Chungcheongnam-do Province, with local companies and related organizations.

Over the past three years, the agency dispatched overseas market development delegations to 16 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, supporting 944 small and medium-sized enterprises in the province.

During this period, a total of 7,857 consultations with overseas buyers were held, resulting in export consultations worth 1.5 billion dollars and 468 actual export contracts amounting to 700 million dollars.

The upcoming event will feature presentations of successful overseas expansion cases by local companies, sharing of market information by country and region, and expert recommendations for overseas market development strategies in 2026.

About 200 representatives from local companies and related organizations are expected to attend, discussing network building and practical collaboration measures.

Participating companies will receive preferential points when applying for next year's overseas market development delegation project, and the new export support policy direction of Chungcheongnam-do Province will also be announced on-site.

The agency currently operates overseas offices in seven countries-India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Germany, Japan, the United States, and China-providing a variety of overseas marketing programs, including ▲buyer invitation consultations ▲local export consultation meetings ▲EMS logistics support ▲overseas certification support, and more.

Next year, the agency plans to further expand global marketing support by increasing the number of countries hosting export consultations and strengthening support for participation in overseas exhibitions.

Director Han Kwonhee stated, "We will continue to strengthen customized overseas marketing and export infrastructure to support the global market entry of small and medium-sized enterprises in the province."
