The "Top 10 Mechanical Technologies of Korea" is an event organized by the Korea Association of Machinery Industry, the Korea Association of Machinery Industry Promotion, the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials, the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, the Korea Aerospace Research Institute, and the Korea Railroad Research Institute, and supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. The event aims to highlight the technological competitiveness and social value of Korea's machinery industry and to inspire pride among mechanical engineers.
The RBQ series from Rainbow Robotics is a high-mobility quadruped robot platform capable of stable movement even in rough and unstructured terrain. In particular, it can flexibly switch between dynamics-based walking and reinforcement learning-based AI walking. It is capable of both precise walking and robust, dynamic movements, and can climb slopes and stairs using only AI walking without visual information.
It can also be customized and utilized according to the requirements of various institutions such as defense, security, law enforcement, and disaster response. Its range of applications is gradually expanding through on-site demonstration stages, such as the defense rapid demonstration project.
