S-OIL Signs Integrated ITO Contract with Samsung SDS to Strengthen IT Operations and Security

Three-Year Initiative for Infrastructure, Security, and Cloud Migration Starting Next Year

S-OIL announced on November 17 that it has signed an integrated ITO (IT Outsourcing) contract with Samsung SDS.


Under this contract, S-OIL has selected Samsung SDS as its integrated ITO service provider for three years starting in March next year. Samsung SDS will be responsible for application and IT infrastructure management, security assessments, IT diagnostics, and cloud migration consulting. Through this partnership, S-OIL aims to enhance the stability and efficiency of its IT operations, while also strengthening its security and cloud infrastructure.

S-OIL described this collaboration as a stepping stone to accelerating its digital transformation. Ryu Yeol, President of S-OIL, stated, "The integrated ITO contract marks the first step toward digital innovation," adding, "Through our partnership with Samsung SDS, we will maximize the stability and efficiency of our IT operations."


Lee Junhee, President of Samsung SDS, said, "The partnership between our two companies will lead to greater future competitiveness," and added, "By working with S-OIL, we will enhance our competitiveness in the global market."


S-OIL plans to continue strengthening its IT service operation capabilities and building a digital ecosystem in the future.
