On November 16, Jang appeared on several conservative-leaning YouTube channels and stated, "President Lee Jaemyung, Democratic Party leader Jeong Cheongrae, and floor leader Kim Byungki do not recognize the People Power Party as a cooperative opposition party or as a counterpart for negotiation and dialogue."

He emphasized, "Now is the time to fight strongly against the Lee Jaemyung administration and the Democratic Party, and to properly inform the public about what is wrong."

Jang further stated, "The only thing left for the Lee Jaemyung administration is to amend the Constitution and move toward a socialist constitution. If the Constitution is changed to a socialist one, South Korea will face an irreversible situation. That is why we must win the upcoming local elections." He added, "In order to prevent the Lee Jaemyung administration from attempting to overthrow the system and establish a socialist dictatorship, we must unite, and if that is the cause, everyone can come together."

Regarding criticism within the party about his protest against the arrest motion for former Prime Minister Hwang Kyoan, Jang argued, "If you criticize those who speak out for people suffering human rights abuses under a ruthless political special prosecution, isn't that the same as supporting Special Prosecutor Jo Eunsuk?"

He also said, "Although Lee Jinsook, the former chairperson of the Korea Communications Commission, was not a party member at the time of her arrest, she raised her voice as well. The human rights abuses against Pastor Son Hyeonbo and former chairperson Lee are no different from those against former Prime Minister Hwang."

Regarding the stagnation in party approval ratings, he said, "If we move sideways for a while and then start to rise little by little, I expect that the time will come for an increase after the end of the year," adding, "Until the end of next month, we need to focus much more on our party's support base."

Meanwhile, Jang reported that, regarding suspicions that the family of former leader Han Donghoon was involved in posts disparaging former President Yoon Sukyeol and his wife on the party member bulletin board, "the Party Affairs Audit Committee will conduct an investigation."
