Notably, the most cited reason for negative assessments for the second consecutive week was "issues of morality and evasion of personal trial" (15%), while mentions of the "Daejang-dong case" (6%) were newly included. A Gallup official explained, "It appears that the controversy stems from the so-called 'trial suspension bill' promoted by the ruling party earlier this month, which has not yet subsided, as well as the prosecution's decision not to appeal in past cases involving the president."

Regarding the prosecution's decision to forgo appealing the Daejang-dong development corruption case, 29% of respondents said it was "appropriate," while 48% said it was "inappropriate." On the issue of raising the statutory retirement age from 60 to 65, 72% expressed support. Only 21% said the current retirement age should be maintained. Among those in their 20s and 30s, support for extending the retirement age was 71% and 77%, respectively.

In terms of party support, the approval rating for the Democratic Party of Korea rose by 2 percentage points from last week to 42%. Support for the People Power Party fell by 2 percentage points to 24%.
