Goryeong County Companies Donate 13 Million Won to Hometown Love Fund

Warm stories of sharing for the local community continue to emerge in Goryeong County, North Gyeongsang Province.

The Goryeong County Chamber of Commerce (Chairman Kim Jongtae) held a donation ceremony for the Hometown Love Donation Fund totaling 13 million won during the fourth quarter board meeting at the Geumbit Masil Community Center on November 13.

Companies in Goryeong County are donating 13 million won to the Hometown Love Donation Fund.

Major local companies participated in this donation ceremony, including Youngjin Casting from Goryeong Industrial Complex 1 (CEO Kim Kwanhyun) with 5 million won, Daeyoung Hi-Tech from Donggoryeong Industrial Complex (CEO Kim Haesuk) with 3 million won, and Nolbu & Heungbu Industry from Janggi Industrial Complex (CEO Sung Heejun) with 5 million won.

Representatives from the participating companies expressed their thoughts, saying, "We are pleased to join this donation with hopes for the development of Goryeong," and added, "We will continue to engage in various sharing activities that promote mutual growth with the local community in the future."

County Governor Lee Namcheol stated, "I am grateful to the Chamber of Commerce for being a reliable pillar of the local economy even in difficult times," and added, "We will honor the donors' noble intentions by utilizing the donations in various fields to promote regional development and enhance welfare."

With this donation, Goryeong County plans to establish a strategy for utilizing the funds to contribute to regional development and improve the welfare of its residents.
