Establishing an Empathy-Based Recruitment Culture Centered on Applicants Through Recruitment Paradigm Innovation
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on November 14 that it received the Minister of Economy and Finance Award in the public sector at the "2025 Fair Recruitment Excellent Companies Awards." Co-hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, this event recognizes and awards institutions and companies that have contributed to the spread of a fair recruitment culture by identifying outstanding cases.
This year, institutions from various sectors, including public institutions, local public enterprises, and private companies, participated in the awards. Among public institutions, a total of six organizations were selected as winners. Specifically, there were two Minister of Economy and Finance Awards, two Minister of Education Awards, and two Commissioner of the Ministry of Personnel Management Awards.
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation was highly praised for establishing a fair recruitment roadmap under the theme "Changing the Recruitment Paradigm, Empowering the Future." The corporation systematically applied elements of fair recruitment throughout the entire process, from recruitment planning to selection and monitoring, thereby operating a transparent recruitment process.
In particular, the corporation received high marks for establishing an "empathy-based recruitment culture centered on applicants" through initiatives such as: ▲ operating a feedback system for interviewees who were not selected (trusted recruitment), ▲ advancing job evaluation tools for each recruitment stage (selection of job-competent talent), and ▲ expanding the recruitment of local talent and promoting social equity in hiring (realization of social value).
The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation plans to use this award as an opportunity to further spread a fair and transparent recruitment culture throughout the organization and to continue strengthening youth employability and operating job seeker-friendly systems.
