85.4% of Test Takers Say "CSAT Was Difficult"
The expected cutoff scores for the first grade in the Korean language and mathematics sections of the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) have been released.

As of 8 p.m. that day, the expected first-grade cutoff score for the Korean language 'Speech and Composition' section was 90 points, while for the 'Language and Media' section, it was 85 points.
In the mathematics section, the expected first-grade cutoff scores were projected to be 91 points for 'Probability and Statistics,' 87 points for 'Calculus,' and 88 points for 'Geometry.'
According to a survey conducted by EBS on the perceived difficulty of the CSAT after the exam, most students felt the test was difficult. Of the 4,019 respondents, 44.6% answered that it was 'very difficult,' and 40.8% said it was 'somewhat difficult.'
In addition, 11.3% of students responded that the exam was 'average' in difficulty, 1.7% said it was 'somewhat easy,' and 1.5% answered that it was 'very easy.'
