Natural Purification Activity
The pristine island of Ulleungdo and its blue sea have declared a "war on waste."
On November 13 at 1:30 p.m., Ulleung County (Governor Nam Han-gwon) conducted the 2025 Ulleung County Natural Purification Activity in the areas of Nari Basin and Albong Dulle-gil, with the participation of all county office employees and their families.
After the purification activity, a fall hike was held from Nari Basin to Albong Dulle-gil. Participants enjoyed time for communication and healing, encouraging one another across departments amidst the pristine nature and vibrant autumn scenery.
Governor Nam Han-gwon stated, "The beautiful nature of Ulleung is a precious asset that we all must protect together," adding, "I hope this event serves as an opportunity for every employee to reaffirm the value of clean Ulleung and to take the lead in environmental preservation in daily life."
True to its theme, "Refresh nature, refresh your mind," the event concluded as a special time to purify both Ulleung's environment and the participants' minds.
