Exploring Competencies and Attitudes for the AI Era
Forecasting Next Year's Consumer Trends and More
The Gwangmyeong Lifelong Learning Center in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for participants in the winter special lecture series of the "Gwangmyeong Knowledge Store" until November 28.
This special lecture series, themed "2026 Signals Unveiled by AI × Trends," consists of two sessions. It is designed as an insight lecture to explore the competencies and attitudes individuals need in the rapidly changing era of artificial intelligence (AI), and to forecast social and economic changes centered on consumer trends for 2026.
On December 1, the first special lecture will be held under the topic "Secrets to Success in the AI Era." The lecture will be delivered by Cho Yongmin, CEO of Unbound Lab Dev and former Executive Director at Google Korea.
The second special lecture will take place on December 8, under the theme "Trend Korea 2026: Horse Power." Choi Jihye, a research fellow at the Trend Korea Consumer Trend Center and co-author of "Trend Korea 2026," will serve as the lecturer, analyzing changes in the Korean consumer market and social and economic trends for the coming year, and sharing insights and trend awareness to help prepare for the future.
The number of participants for the special lectures is limited to 240. Those interested can apply on a first-come, first-served basis through the Gwangmyeong Lifelong Learning Platform "Gwangmyeong e-ji."
Meanwhile, the "Gwangmyeong Knowledge Store" is a customized lifelong learning program based on citizens' interests and daily lives, and has been operated as a regular program in both the first and second halves of the year since last year. In the second half of this year, more than 470 citizens are participating, taking 29 programs across seven fields, including future technology, job competencies, financial planning, humanities reflection, relationship learning, and civic learning.
