MOMOGO is a Berlin-based company specializing in the distribution of Asian food ingredients and meal kits, operating a variety of brands to make Asian home-cooked meals easily accessible to local consumers. With growing interest in Korean cuisine and healthy foods across Germany, demand for Korean food ingredients has surged. Through this agreement, Goheung’s premium products such as yuzu, seasoned seaweed, dried vegetables, and rice will be supplied to Germany in phases.

Under the agreement, Goheung County will support a stable supply system, while Eden Food Agricultural Corporation will be responsible for quality control and shipment of key products such as yuzu beverages. MOMOGO will oversee distribution and promotion within Germany, directly introducing Goheung products to local consumers and expanding sales.

In addition, in-depth discussions were held during the agreement process regarding the development of new products combining Goheung yuzu with ginger.

In Germany, Goheung yuzu is recognized as a vitamin-rich natural health food, and ginger tea is also gaining popularity as an immune-boosting health beverage. The plan is to launch a trial product that combines these two ingredients to gauge local response, followed by a full-scale market expansion.

Alongside the agreement, Goheung County held promotional events at major retail stores in Berlin. The events featured tastings of yuzu ade and yuzu tea, as well as local SNS promotions and online mall-linked marketing, attracting significant interest from local consumers.

German citizens who attended the event expressed great interest in Goheung products, saying, "The quality is fresh and the taste is excellent."

Governor Gong Youngmin stated, "This agreement is the first step for Goheung’s agricultural and marine products to reach dining tables in Germany, and it is proof that the dedication and quality of our farmers and fishers are being recognized globally. Expanding into the German market, following the Czech Republic and Italy, is highly encouraging, and we will continue to provide full support so that export companies can enhance their competitiveness in overseas markets, including Europe."

A representative from Eden Food Agricultural Corporation, who also attended, said, "It is very rewarding to see products made from ingredients grown in Goheung’s clean natural environment receiving positive feedback from German consumers. We will continue to focus on quality-driven production and trust, so that Goheung’s agricultural products can confidently compete in the global market."

With this agreement, Goheung County plans to sequentially expand its presence in both online and offline distribution channels in Germany and broaden its connection with local consumers.
