On November 12, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the Korea Jobs Awards.

The Korea Jobs Awards are presented to local governments and public institutions that have implemented outstanding employment policies or made significant contributions to the creation of quality jobs. The awards are held in conjunction with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's "2025 Regional Economy Innovation Expo."

This year, 81 local governments and public institutions participated in the expo. After a preliminary document review and on-site exhibition content assessment, which evaluated the creativity and impact of employment policies, as well as a comprehensive review, a total of 13 organizations (7 local governments and 6 public institutions) were ultimately selected.
