The Office of the President has announced its intention to accept the resignation of Norman Seok, Acting Prosecutor General and Deputy Prosecutor General at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office.

On November 12, the Presidential Spokesperson's Office stated in a press release, "The Office of the President plans to approve the dismissal of Acting Prosecutor General Seok if it is recommended by the Minister of Justice."

Earlier, the Supreme Prosecutors' Office had stated, "Today, Acting Prosecutor General Seok expressed his intention to resign," adding, "A more detailed statement will be provided at the retirement ceremony."
