100% Native-Speaking Instructors Deliver Practical Conversation Classes

Gijang County (Governor Jung Jongbok) will be accepting applications for new students for the "Hub English Center Winter Semester" until November 21.
The Gijang Hub English Center offers a practical English conversation-focused curriculum taught 100% by professional native-speaking instructors. The program emphasizes improving everyday English expression and conversation skills through classes held five days a week.
The tuition fee is 40,000 KRW per month (45,000 KRW for adults), providing high-quality English education at a reasonable cost, which has received a positive response from both parents and residents.
This winter semester program will run from December 2, 2025, to February 24, 2026, and will be held at a total of five locations: Gijang Education Happy Town, Gijang General Social Welfare Center, Jeonggwan-eup Education Happy Center, Wollae Welfare Center, and Ilgwang Hub English Center. Sixteen outstanding native-speaking instructors will be assigned to the classes.
Eligible applicants are students from 2nd grade in elementary school to 3rd grade in middle school for the 2025 academic year, as well as adults. New students will be assigned to customized classes according to their level after taking a placement test (applications available from November 10 to 21).
Governor Jung Jongbok stated, "In the global era, the ability to express oneself in English is becoming increasingly important," and added, "The Gijang Hub English Center will serve as a strong stepping stone for residents to learn English easily and enjoyably, and to confidently step out into the world."
